Hersh Construction (“HCC”) was formed in 2008 bringing together a combined 65 years of construction experience. HCC specializes in construction management and/or general contractor services for multi-family housing, retail/office, and motel/hotel projects throughout the Midwest.
Additionally, HCC works with its sister company, Hersh Development Company (“HDC”), providing construction services for HDC’s development projects.
The Hersh family, led by George Hersh II and Brian Hersh, has been involved in construction and development for many years in the Topeka area. Brian Hersh has over 25 years of construction experience ranging from single-family residences, retail/office, commercial and multi-family building. Brian brings an extensive background in all aspects of construction from planning to the finished product.
Roger Zais, with over 26 years experience, possesses the same qualifications. Roger was Vice President of Multi-family Construction responsible for all facets of construction in numerous projects. He also was involved in multi-unit commercial construction as well as hotel/motel projects.
Darren Williams brings 13 years experience in the construction industry acting as job superintendent on several multi-family projects as well as owning and operating a custom home building business for four years. Darren currently holds eight inspector certifications from the state of Texas and has several years experience in building inspection/code inspection services.
Projects that the principals have been involved with or completed include:
Current projects include providing construction management services for a 236 unit multi-family development in Topeka, KS, and acting as general contractor for 196 units of senior housing to be constructed in Texas. Other projects in the planning stages include 100 units of senior housing and a self-storage complex in Kansas.
